PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority) is an investment promotion agency established by the Philippine government in 1995. Its aim is to attract foreign investment and promote the development of export-oriented industries by creating economic zones. PEZA is responsible for the establishment, management, and supervision of various economic zones across the country, offering a package of incentives to resident enterprises, including tax exemptions, streamlined administrative procedures, and infrastructure support. Under PEZA’s management, the economic zones in the Philippines have become hotspots for investment in industries such as electronics, garments, and business process outsourcing, creating numerous job opportunities and export revenues for the country. The successful operation of PEZA has elevated the Philippines' position in the global value chain and is a crucial driver of the country's industrialization and economic modernization.
Our visit to PEZA aims to foster greater interest in investing in the Philippines among the delegation members and to increase their willingness to invest.
